Q:

How do I check or enable TLS 1.2 in Google Chrome

A:

These steps may vary slightly depending on the version of Chrome you’re using.

To check your TLS settings and enable TLS 1.2 (or higher) in Chrome:

  1. Open Chrome.
  2. Click on the three dots icon in the top right corner, then click ‘Settings’.
  3. Scroll down and click on ‘Advanced’ (Or ‘Show advanced settings’).
  4. Scroll down to the Network section and click on ‘Change proxy settings’.
  5. Now go to the ‘Advanced’ tab.
  6. Scroll down to the ‘Security’ category.
  7. Here you’ll find the ‘Use TLS 1.2’ box. Make sure it’s ticked.
  8. Once you've ticked this box, click ‘Apply’ then hit ‘OK’ to save the changes. (If the box was already ticked just click ‘OK’).

If you can't access or change these settings you may not have the required privileges on your network or computer, please refer to your business’s IT support team for assistance.
