What does the ‘Date payment to arrive’ field default to?

A:

The default is today's date plus two business days, or plus three business days if today is not a business day. Depending on your privileges you may be able to select an earlier or later date (up to 180 days in the future). 

To change the date either click on the calendar or enter the date manually.

If the payment can be sent today as an immediate Faster Payment, the cost will be higher.
