Q:

Why have I received the warning “A Standard priority Euro payment routed via SEPA may also meet your needs. Typically, it costs less than an Urgent payment and arrives one business day after it is sent by us. Please note, International payments are sent by us on business days"?

A:

This has been shown as it is possible that a Standard priority Euro payment routed via SEPA may also meet your needs.

Typically, it costs less than an urgent payment and arrives one business day after it is sent by us.

Please note that if you enter this payment on a non-business day the earliest it can be sent by us is the next business day.

If you decide to change to a Standard priority Euro payment routed via SEPA then please note:

  • The 'Date payment to leave account' will be the business day before the 'Date payment to arrive'.
  • Check the payment confirmation screen to ensure the 'Date payment to arrive' still meets your needs.
  • You will need to fully authorise your payment by 16.30 on the date the payment is due to leave your account.
