Priority

Your preference for how you want us to process your international payment:

- Urgent - For payments in EUR to most European countries the beneficiary bank will normally receive the payment the same day your account is debited. Other Urgent payments should normally arrive within two working days. For full details, please refer to our terms and conditions.

- Standard - For payments in EUR to another country in the Single European Payment Area (SEPA), the beneficiary bank will normally receive the payment the next working day, provided you: use only international bank account numbers (IBANs) for account numbers and bank identifier codes (BICs) for banks, leave charges as Shared (i.e. our charges paid by the remitter, and foreign bank charges paid by the beneficiary) and you do not specify an intermediary bank or SWIFT code word. Other Standard payments should normally arrive within four working days. For full details, please refer to our terms and conditions

- Low Value - Low Value payments within the Single European Payments Area (SEPA) area are now superseded by SEPA payments, which are cheaper and faster. You can still make Low Value payments to a limited number of countries outside the SEPA area - currently, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, South Africa and USA. For other low-value payments, use Standard priority instead. Low Value payments must be in the currency of the beneficiary country and cannot be more than £2,000 (or currency equivalent). Charges must be Shared (i.e. our charges paid by the remitter, and foreign bank charges paid by the beneficiary). Low Value payments should normally arrive within five working days from the day your account is debited.
