How do I view and customise an existing master role?

A:

Some 'Master roles' may be fine as they are. If so, you can allocate them directly to your users in the 'Manage Users' section.

You can edit them if you need to though. You'll need to save your changes under a different name. A Master role, once edited, becomes a 'Customer role'.

  1. In the 'Administration' section, select 'Manage roles'.

  2. Select a Master role by clicking on its 'Name'.

  3. Change the role name and description and select or deselect privileges as required. (Use the drop-down menu to display other privilege types).

  4. Click 'Continue'.

  5. Assign the relevant accounts to the role. Select 'Continue' then 'Confirm new role'.
