Q:

How do I mark an account as confidential?

A:

Administrators can mark an account as ‘Confidential', then decide who can use this account.

To make an account confidential, from 'Administration' go to 'Manage accounts' then select the account you'd like to make confidential. You just need to tick the box marked 'Confidential'.

If you want a user to be able to see it, from 'Administration' select 'Manage users' then select their User ID. Now you need to check the ‘User can access confidential accounts' box in the ‘Attributes – confidentiality' section and then follow the onscreen instructions.

Setting an account to 'Confidential' doesn't need Smartcard authorisation, however, you'll need to use your Smartcard to give a user access to view the account.
