Q:

What is ‘User Payment Authorisation Limit Check’ used for?

A:

This provides added flexibility to the management of payments requiring dual authorisation. Limit checks apply to either:

  • First and second authorisation where the user limit set by an administrator is checked at both stages of the authorisation process.

  • Second authorisation only where the authorisation limit will only apply at the second or final stage of authorisation. This allows all users with the appropriate 'Authorise payments' privilege to authorise payments that require dual authorisation, regardless of their value.
