Q:

What is the difference between an Account Set and a Group Account?

A:

An Account Set is a group of accounts, grouped together for reporting purposes only. When you place an account in an Account Set, this has no effect on how we calculate interest or charges.

The Group Account function is an administrative tool. The way you group your accounts has a direct impact on how we process the accounts and therefore on interest and charges.
